Samies Girl Seafood Brisbane

Lloyd Godson first met Greek-Australian Kristina Georges, of Samies Girl Fresh Seafood Market in Brisbane, back in 2009 on the island of Kefalonia in Greece. Lloyd had seen a children's book that Kristina authored, Angels do Swim, and asked her if she would like to be involved in his latest project. Kristina flew all the way to Greece to support his endeavour and the two of them have remained in contact ever since.
Renowned for her passion for sustainability and the environment, Kristina is a wife, mother, businesswoman, entrepreneur, author, fishmonger and psychic. She was the winner of the Telstra Business Awards 2011 Yellow Pages Social Responsibility Award for her environmental and education work. Kristina has a motto, "dreaming of the future starts with the help of today."
Lloyd met Kristina again in 2013 while she was visiting Greece with her family. They spoke about many things, including Lloyd's vision for Tik and Bubbles and the Sea Stars of STEM project. The following morning, Lloyd received an email from Kristina saying that she would like to kickstart his StartSomeGood campaign with a AUD $10,000 pledge of support! She is also selling reusable Tik and Bubbles chiller bags to reduce plastic litter in the marine environment and help support the project. Thank you Kristina for everything you do :)
